Former Minister and MLC Leh Sh. Chering Dorje Lakrook addressed a Press Conference at Press Club Leh and presented the following reports and achievements on their regime at Leh Ladakh in these 3 years. According to Lakrook they had did announcements as follows in press conference. They had distributed as a achievements in different sectors in administrative sectors, developments, short and long lasting projects, manufacture and future plan in educational, cultural, religious, infrastructure building etc. Their announcements are as follows : • A Ladakhi Member appointed in the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission for the first time. • Exams of Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission and Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board were conducted for the first time in Leh. • Indian Reserve Police (IRP) Battalion sanctioned for Leh District. • An all Women Police Station created in Leh for the first time. • Sowa Rigpa was recognized as a part of Ayush through legislation in the State Assembly. • Central Institute of Buddhist Studies (CIBS) upgraded as Deemed University. • Nubra Development Authority for Development of Tourism in the region is sanctioned. • Financial Power of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh/Kargil enhanced from Rs.05.00 Crores to Rs.20.00 Crores. • Work done liability of 2014 Kalachakra Sermon for Rs.15.00 Crores cleared. • Rs.05.00 Crores sanctioned under 13th Finance Commission for Construction of Stadium which was denied by previous Government. • Additional funds of Rs.05.00 Crores, Rs.02.66 Crores, Rs.10.00 Crores, Rs.35.00 Crores (Total Rs.52.66 Crores) were released at different occasions. • Rs.09.00 Crores for construction of 1000 Metric Ton Cold Storage Plant sanctioned under 13th Finance & PMDP and the work is nearing completion. • Rs.40.00 Lakh sanctioned for opening of Supper Bazar Leh and made functional. • For promotion of Pashmina Rs.35.00 Crores has been sanctioned as a grant by Union Textile Ministry. • Special Duty Allowance (SDA) of 10% on basic pay for the State Govt. Employees serving in Ladakh region approved in Budget 2018-19. • For Macadamization of Cities & Towns, addition funds of Rs.15.00 Crores has been sanctioned in 2017-18 and Rs.04.00 Crores in 2018-19. • Rs.42.05 Crores sanctioned under AMRUT for Leh City Development. • Leh-Srinagar 200KV Transmission Line will be completed this October. • Relaxation of Inner Line Permit from Panamik to Warshi for tourist was granted by Ministry of Home Affairs. • Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh/Kargil Included in J&K Warrant of Precedence. • Amendment of LAHDC Act.1997 is under active consideration of J&K Government and the proposal for amendment was prepared by a Committee comprising of Councilors of LAHDC, Leh and Kargil. • Rs.25.00 Crores sanctioned under Dr. Shyama Pradsad Mukharji Rurban Mission for Leh • Seabuckthrone is included by Govt of India as a Horticulture Plant as such Seabuckthrone related activities will qualify for subsidy by Govt. if India. • BSNL Mobile Towers installed in Pangong, Shachukhul, Shayok, Shang, Pinchimik, Bogdang, 9 Post, Khalsar, Sasoma and a stellate BSNL Tower at Meru. • Rs.32.00 Crore sanctioned for Creation of Tourist Infrastructure in Leh as Swadesh Darshan Scheme under PMDP. • Rs.05.00 Crore additional funds sanctioned for completion of Trance Himalaya Project at Leh. • Delink of Examination Schedule of Degree college Leh with Kashmir University is notified. The implementation of this decision is hampered by absence of Rector which is being appointed soon. • Additional funds sanctioned under NABARD Scheme for blacktopping of 13Km (Khemi-Gonbo 10km and Kobet-Murgi 03km) Road in Nubra. • Rs.15.00Crores sanctioned by Govt. of India for Restoration of Phuktal Flood damages. • Nimoo Padum Darcha Road declared as National Highway and handing over of it from BRO to NHIDCL is under process. • The transfer of Land for construction of Terminal Building at Leh Airport was expedited and tenders for the same are flouted and the work will start very soon. • The daily wagers of PDD were regularized and regularization of other daily wagers is under process. Roads and Bridge sanctioned during BJP tenure: Major Roads and Bridges projects sanctioned under Central Road Funds (CRF) as under: CRF 2016-17: 1. Rs.19.77 Crores sanctioned for Construction of Road from Chogalmsar to Spituk, Agling to Skalzangling. 2. Rs.09.50 Crores sanctioned for Construction of Khakted to Chushul Road. 3. Rs.08.39 Crores sanctioned for Construction of Link Road to Achina Lungba. 4. Rs.12.94 Crores sanctioned for Construction of Link Road to Urbis. CRF 2017-18: 5. Rs.19.89 Crores sanctioned for Choglamsar Bridge and 9KM Road towards Chushot. 6. Rs.06.80 Crores sanctioned for Upgradation of Road and Bridge at Martselang. 7. Rs.18. Crores sanctioned for Construction of Mahey-Korzok Road. Major Bridges completed in last three years of BJP tenure: 1) Stakna Bridge, 2) Mangyu Bridge, Following Bridges are nearing completion: 1) Urbis Bridge, 2) Lehdho Bridge, 3) Khache Thang Bridge 4) Rongjuk Bridge. PMGSY (Phase X) 2017-18: 1. Rs.03.57 Crores sanctioned for Construction of Road to Chulungkha. 2. Rs.08.69 Crores sanctioned for Upgradation of Nyurla Timisgam Ang Road. 3. Rs.26.61 Crores sanctioned for Construction of Mahey-Korzok Road. 4. Rs.03.61 Crores sanctioned for Construction of Sharnos to Shara Road. 5. Rs.175 Crores for 20MW Solar Power Plants at Leh. 6. Rs.04.50 Crores for Construction of Cold Storage in Leh. 7. Rs.04.50 Crores for Construction of Stadium in Leh. 8. Rs.300 Crores for Durbuk-Shayok 23MW Hydro Power Project. 9. Rs.200 Crores for 12MW Hydro Power Project at Tamasha (Zanskar). 10.
